Finding work in Massachusetts in the Software and Internet Industries

There are several sites to consider. This document is the result of a lot of digging. Any additional suggestions are welcome. They will likely be added to the version of this document on the web.

If you'd like to work for a software company in Massachusetts, consider searching thru the 2,000 company member Massachusetts Software and Internet Council database. Check with the Council for networking events.

If you need a job really soon and you are willing to travel, Dice.com is known to generate phone calls from employers and recruiters the day after you have them Post. (Note that Dice and Headhunter.net both post to destinations other than just themselves like Usenet News groups etc.) Dice for Boston jobs.  (Guru and Freelance are similar but not as popular. Keen is an interesting way to try to sell you time by the minute.)

For highest compensation, if you can take some time then you are likely to be able to get a competitive war for your time going by paying http://www.wsacorp.com/ to send your resume to 100s or 1000s of targeted people. They do excellent work but it is not cheap.
